DCI Talkgroups

DCI Talkgroups
Available talkgroups used across the DCI network managers

This page lists DCI's various talkgroups (aka: group calls) and their purpose.  Not all talkgroups need be programmed into subscriber radios nor are they used across all of the DCI network managers.  The c-Bridge is able to make use of the talkgroup ID's to prioritize and route the traffic between the 50 network managers as well as to the other c-Bridges.  This enables better and more efficient use of the 2 timeslots to carry more traffic with fewer busies on both timeslots at any given time on a given repeater or network.

Source c-Bridge is DCI unless listed differently; c-Bridge admins, check with that organization if you wish to carry their talkgroup
Talkgroups may be actively linked full time or controlled by PTT on a repeater by repeater basis.  Default may be unlinked but a Ker-Chunk will link the talkgroup to other networks and/or c-Bridges.  A typical 15 min timeout timer will run which is reset by additional ker-chunks or continued use of the TG.  Check with your local repeater owner or admin for information.   Read more
